UX Engineer

About the role
You will be creating high-quality, engaging user experiences across our platforms to deliver seamless, user-centric solutions. In this role you will:
Design and develop flexible, responsive, and visually engaging user interfaces
Work closely with cross-functional teams to iterate from definition through to implementation
Utilise your expertise in UX/UI principles to elevate user experiences, while taking writing clean, scalable code and bringing designs to life in our product

Key Responsibilities
Partner with designers, product managers and engineers to define and refine UI/UX requirements
Design and implement user interfaces using modern web technologies, ensuring responsiveness, scalability and performance
Rapidly prototype and iterate on designs to validate and refine user experiences
Maintain a consistent look and feel across web and mobile platforms while adhering to brand guidelines
Apply design principles, accessibility standards (such as WCAG), and UX best practices to create polished and functional interfaces
About you
4+ years of experience in front-end development and/or UX/UI design
Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (such as React or Vue) and their ecosystems (e.g. Next.js, Remix), including state and server-state management
Strong HTML, CSS, and responsive design skills
Experience working with APIs, JSON data, and managing state in client-side applications
Solid knowledge of UX principles, wireframing, and visual design tools (such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD)
